Dick works for TL driving a bus for 28 years and also works for TL for the food and mail delivery .  We raise Registered Paint/Pinto horses and have shown our stallion twice at the Hoosier Horse Fair in Indianapolis.  I have been a 4-H leader now for 18 years.  Dick and I have  seven grandchildren, five girls and two boys.  The oldest two granddaughters we share with Butch and Marilyn Snow.  Their son married our oldest daughter.  Our granddaughters have been educating Butch and Marilyn about chickens, ducks, cattle and horses.  They are very involved with 4-H and Butch and Marilyn try to go to all their shows.  Marilyn especially is getting pretty good at judging the chickens.   We have fun.

Mike still enjoys anything that has to do with the outdoors, i.e. archery (hunting/bow-fishing), muzzle-loader, pistol, shotgun, high-powered rifles, football, and track. Both are still employed through the T. L. school corp. in teaching and coaching. We are the proud parents of three children, Jennifer-Jon (her husband), Nicole, and Sean. Steve entered the Marine Corps in December of 1969 and served as a photojournalist.  Steve spent two of his 4 years stationed at Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe Bay, HI.  My last year I was assigned as the Public Affairs NCO in support of Marine Recruiting for the state of Iowa and portions of surrounding states.  After that I spent a couple years working for the Federal Protective Service here in Des Moines.  Then I was a Tax Examiner for the Internal Revenue Service.  In 1977 I was hired by the West Des Moines Police Department and am proud to have started the Department's Crime Prevention Program and the Polk County Crime Stoppers Program.  Currently serving as the Special Operations Commander which covers special events, dignitary protection, the Police Reserve Unit, the K-9 Unit, Motorcycle Patrol Unit and Bicycle Patrol Unit.  Steve retired from the PD in August of 2005 and that weekend moved back to Indiana and now living in Buffalo.  He is eager to start his new summer job of mowing fairways at the Tippecanoe Golf and Country Club.   Steve has two daughters, one, Stephanie who just graduated in Business Administration at a local community college and the other, Jessica is currently the Director of Aveda Institute in Tallahassee, Fl.. Steve has a very sweet nine year-old granddaughter Jade. Steve enjoys woodworking, riding Harleys and restoring older bikes.

He also completed a Bachelors of Science in Education at UCF (University of Central Florida) also graduating with honors (Cum Laude). I did not, however, go into teaching as was my original plan. I am working for Brevard Community College here in Palm Bay as a Student Advisor. My next progressive step is to complete my Masters degree, which I hope to start no later than this coming August. I am looking at English with a Community College teaching track. I really enjoy my current job and am not really looking at making any major changes at this time; it’s just that I also enjoy being in the classroom [teaching] and am looking at doing this with a group of “older” students.   David continues his love for music and numismatics.

Pequita has been a teacher and now practices law.  She is single and has been busy raising her son Denzel.   I have been in my own private practice for 18 years. (Whew!) During that time, I have also served as an Administrative Law Judge for the Indiana Department of Health, an Appellate Public Defender for the Marion County Municipal Courts and a Commissioner for the Marion County Superior Court, Criminal Division.
In 1990, my son came to me by adoption. I first saw him when he was 4 hours old and he came home with me three days later! He's better looking now, and much more intelligent. He is in a non-graded, continuous progress, individualized instruction program and is amazing! The teenage mind has erupted/exploded. He is coping well and has a good sense of humor about it all.
My equilibrium is constantly shifting. There is never a dull moment. I'm a little late for the child rearing experience, but it is really amazing to watch a kid grow up. I recognize a lot of the behavior and feelings and it is fun to see. I'm too old to take it seriously! It can be really goofy at times!
I work out of my home, which gives me time to supervise homework and after school sports and activities. I have a receptionist and paralegal working with me. I guess I learned from my father the value of being my own boss. I never thought of a farmer as being a boss, but my work is kind of like that. You do what needs to be done and then play. I do a lot more playing than my dad did, but then he had to raise me...so...
I am studying Ascension, which is an ancient practice of meditation to still the mind and allow consciousness to expand. It is very restorative and peaceful. I also do a little Yoga now and then to keep the old muscles and joints moving. We have about 15 miles of improved Monon Trail here that connects to another 10 or so miles of trails in the city. I like to take a day off now and then and ride the trails on my bike. Sometimes I ride to Zionsville or Brownsburg for lunch.
My son will be in college before I know it and I can slow down in the practice. I'm thinking about doing volunteer work in Tahiti or the Caribbean when I have him through school. You never know...

Five years ago Derek went onto community college in Champaign, IL which was Parkland College. Many U of I students take additional classes there. It's the largest community college in Illinois. He then transferred 2 years later to Southern Illinois University and graduated May 07.  He has a BS in Automotive Tech. and is working with his dad in Watseka.  He wanted to see if it could work and so far he's happy, one of his goals is happiness and the other is peace.  My mother saw pictures of his graduation 2 weeks before she died of congestive heart failure.  She was 86.  I sold my home of 20 years when Derek graduated from HS in 03 on contract. I was advised not to and now I advise not to do that!!! Then I sold it for cash to Chicago couple 2 years ago.  I've lived in a townhouse for five years so when it's time to move to Lafayette in July, I free to leave, no lease either. No credit card debt.  I'm doing OK. I substitute taught the last ! 5 years so I could have flexibility when assisting Mom as she lived in Watseka in a new Independent Senior Living center.  Currently I have returned to the work I am passionate about...home based child welfare/social services.  I am on the Masters team and we do Intensive Family Preservation or Reunification. We contract with the Department of Child Services for special family situations.  We do assessments and intensive work then step them down to regular case management for 5 months. Our agency, Community & Family Resource Center has been in Lafayette since 1929. It is well respected as I have found out.  Since I don't have any grandchildren at this time, my move here was timely and fun! Berma has been a great hostess for this huge change at 58. I will officially be a Hoosier by Reunion time. Maybe even have my Indiana Driver's license.  Her eldest daughter Brianna died of cancer several years ago.

Kraack - phone 912-673-7383 pkraack@mindspring.com  Paul and Mary left the Atlanta area in July 2004 to move to the St.  Marys, GA area, which is six miles from the Georgia-Florida state line  on the Atlantic coast. This move was precipitated by our desire to be closer to our children and grandchildren (of which we now have three and are expecting another in December 2008) and to be nearer to her parents living in Tampa, FL. Mary took a job as the Technical Director  at Camden County High School Auditorium and teaches theatre production  and advanced acting at the high school there. She is now the Artistic Director of the high school drama program and has only a few years (or months?) to retirement.

Paul worked with the Alternative School in Camden County for a year, then became the Graduation Specialist at the high school, working with at-risk students, supervising the Guidance Department and coordinating all the online learning programs at the high school.

Since their move, Paul and Mary have had their share of adventures.  Paul ruptured his Achilles tendon on his left heel in May 2005,

requiring immediate surgery and about four months of recovery. In April 2006, Mary's mother and father had to move to a retirement home nearby in St. Marys, GA from their home in Tampa. In December 2007, Mary was diagnosed with breast cancer and has recently completed six months of chemotherapy and had surgery to remove the tumor. During all of these adversities, neither of us have stopped working. (Sounds like we are related to a certain third-grade teacher.)

I work with students with autism, mental disorders, developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, and cerebral palsy. In addition to teaching, I've also been taking coursework for my special education license for the past four years. He never asks to borrow the car, never stays out to late, no phone calls to the opposite sex.  We also had him fixed so there will not be unwanted babies.  Larry has been an Engineer (go Purdue) most of his younger working career.  As time progressed he was a Plant Manager, a Director of Manufacturing, and with this last move he is now the General Manager of a company he has been working with for several years in 2 different states.  We have 2 children, Jeremy/age 33, married to Natasha.  They have 2 children Sara will soon be 8, and Noah will soon be 5.  Jeremy works for General Motors as a Engineer (go Purdue). Currently working in management of clinical trials at Genentech, Inc. and as adjunct faculty teaching graduate level courses at University of California/Santa Cruz.
Residence: About 20 miles south of San Francisco, CA along the Pacific Coast Highway. Family Life: Married in 1983 to Peggy Heneghan, one time Chicago actress and singer; two daughters: Genevieve (21), Emily (19); one dog: Kipling (1.5); tropical fish (~10).    I guess you can say I have been a bit of a nomad during my career.  My college experience consisted of alternating six week sections between college at Kettering University (formerly General Motors Institute) in Flint , Michigan and co-operative education work assignments at Delco Electronics in Kokomo .  I received my BSEE degree in 1973.  During one of my work assignments I met my future wife Jo Anne from Greentown.  She was 16 and I was 19 when we started dating and we will be happily married for 35 years on June 12, 2006 .  We have two grown sons living in Dayton , Ohio and Charlotte , North Carolina and our daughter Jackie is a Junior at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic High School in Waterford .  We also have two grandsons living in North Carolina .  
   After spending 15 years in Kokomo , I transferred to Delphi Chassis Division of General Motors, in Kettering , Ohio , in 1983 to manage a group of electronic development engineers.  ITT Automotive bought my business unit in 1994 and our family (wife and daughter) moved to Sindelfingen , Germany for a three year assignment to manage an electronics development group at the ITT Engineering Center in Bietigheim.  Sindelfingen is the home of the Mercedes Development and Vehicle Manufacturing Center for Europe .  A Mercedes taxi would pick up Jackie every school day to attend the International School of Stuttgart, where she attended Kindergarten through second grade.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Germany and visited almost every country in Europe during our stay. 
   After the assignment in Germany was complete, we moved to Centerville , Ohio for a one year assignment in the ITT Engineering Center in Kettering .  Jackie attended third grade at St. Charles Catholic School , having a Nun for her teacher.  We moved to Waterford , Michigan in 1998 for me to once again create a start up electronics development group for ITT in Auburn Hills.  Less than a year after this move, ITT sold our business unit to Valeo, a large automotive systems supplier headquartered in Paris .  I remained at Valeo through February of 2005, when I took an early retirement package and went to work at Magna in Holly , Michigan . 
    At Magna, I am managing my fourth electronics development group.  Jackie keeps us busy with her school activities and basketball games.  Since she started attending Catholic schools, we went through the RCIA program to become Catholics and are members of Our Lady of the Lakes parish.  We plan to stay in Michigan at least another six years and then finally retire anywhere south of Michigan .

David has been a Regional President for Messer Systems that manufactures Machine Tools for Defense Contractors, Shipyards & Fabrication Plants, for the past seventeen years. Peggy has been teaching 4th grade elementary in Upper Merion School Dist nearly eighteen years. David & Peggy have 4 children & 4 grandchildren living in Florida and Kentucky. Fun is a daily event with 2 Dobermans at home, lovely friends, a great neighborhood, and a couple of Harleys for a little road pleasure.

Mary and her husband Michael have lived in Alaska for 20 years.  Michael is a Physician Assistant and Mary works for the retail clerks union.  They have had many wildlife experiences, ranging from many moose encounters to a bear getting in their turkey pen.  The view from their home encompasses the Alaska mountain range and offers spectacular views of the northern lights.    In winter, they cope with long periods of darkness while in summer we have extended periods of daylight.  Mary and Michael have 3 children.
Mary and Mike have lived in Alaska for over 20 years. Mary is a manager at Safeway and Mike is a Physician Assistant. During the long summer days they enjoy gardening and relaxing on their deck with their three children. During the winter they hibernate!

Leslie operated Needles in the Haystack, was County Recorder in Monticello, Community Development Director for the Lafayette office of the American Cancer Society.  In May 2005 Leslie became the Executive Director of the White County Community Foundation, a grant making and endowment building organization begun in 1998.  The position is both exciting and challenging, allowing her to work with people passionately supportive of White County and its long-term well-being.  The Foundation is housed in the remodeled Youth Center, scene of many junior high and high school dances, so it's easy to feel at home here
John, her husband, was an attorney in Monticello.  John died in 1998.

I am still managing regulatory affairs for a chemical company in Indianapolis.  The regulatory environment gets more challenging every year, particularly as we make products like hospital disinfectants and aerospace cleaners (used on the space shuttle).  Since losing my sweet Jim in 2007 I have been kept really busy with our grandchildren.  Jeffrey is in the Air Force and Jennifer just graduated high school in Virginia.  Jennifer is living with me and will be attending college in Lafayette this next year.  She and I have spent the last few months traveling and visiting Jeffrey and other family.  Having a teenager back in the house is interesting!  Youngest grandchild, Joseph, is 15 and lives with his father in Lafayette.
